From what I've heard on the news and radio, I believe that the whole thing was staged. They were on wife swap, so they could be hungry for some more time on T.V.

It's sort of suspicious, especially when the kid says he did it for the show. What bothers me the most is that Today show gave these people exactly what they seem to crave, a national spotlight.

I live in Canada and I heard the whole news. The family was in on it and called all the news media networks telling them that their son is in the Baloon UFO. Ironically, they did not call 911. Furthermore, they were on the spotlight and the kid that 'was inside' slipped up saying it was 'for the show'. The family is weird they want to be in a reality show and they thought what they did will get them what they want.
Either way, the father is accused on multiple charges and child protective services are getting in saying that the children are not being cared for properly. It's messed up I tell you. Messed Up! |
